Converting Your Existing Aluminum Frames​

Our team has developed many different systems and processes to enable us to convert any colour, and style of aluminum to be double glazed into your existing frames. This means Geraldine glass can use your existing frames without having to completely change your existing aluminum for new aluminum, meaning more bang for your buck.

The process involves our glaziers changing the outer bead on your fixed windows and remaking the aluminum frames of your opening windows with new aluminum, this allows our glaziers to make the glazing channel bigger for a factory sealed unit tailored made to your existing frames.

​Geraldine Glass, we go the extra mile by servicing and rehanging your windows to ensure they close as best as possible to prevent any unwanted airflow. 

Before & After

The aluminum bead that is removed from your existing frames after being retro fitted is sent away from Geraldine Glass for recycling.
